In April of 2021 a sports betting bill was passed in Arizona by the Senate making legalized sports betting the most talked about phenom in the state at the time. Both online sports betting and the retail section of Arizona sports betting became legal, and the first Arizona sportsbooks opened their doors in September of the same year.
