ÉLETE

Ryan Seacrest, születési nevén Ryan John Seacrest, 1974. december 24-én született Atlanta egyik külvárosában, Dunwoody-ban. Édesanyja, Constance Marie (született Zullinger) háziasszony, édesapja, Gary Lee Seacrest pedig ingatlan-ügyvéd.

Tanulmányait a Dunwoody középiskolában kezdte, és már ott is nagy érdeklődést mutatott jelenlegi munkája iránt. Ő volt a Dunwoody középiskola hangja. Mindössze 16 éves volt, amikor egy gyakorlati díjat nyert a WSTR FM-hez, ahol Tom Sullivan rádió- és televíziós személyiség tanítványa volt.

Egészen 1992-ig dolgozott az Atlantai WSTR FM-nél, és miután megkapta diplomáját, a Georgiai egyetemre iratkozott be újságírás szakra, majd 19 éves korában otthagyta azt és Hollywoodba költözött, hogy beindítsa karrierjének szekerét.

TELEVÍZIÓ

Televíziós karrierje még 1993-ban vette kezdetét, ekkor ő volt az ESPN csatorna Radical Outdoor Challenge első évadának műsorvezetője, később három gyerekshow házigazdája is ő volt - az American Gladiators spinoffjának, a Gladiators 2000-nek 1994-től egészen 1996-ig, a Wild Animal Gamesnek 1995-ben, és a Click-nek 1997-ben. AMERICAN IDOL

NEW YEAR’S ROCKIN’ EVE

2005 augusztusában, Ryan lett az ABC csatorna Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve műsor, vezető producere, majd később társ-házigazdaként is feltűnt. 2009-ben, amikor Ryan is csatlakozott hivatalosan, mint műsorvezető a showhoz, ennek címét az ABC átkeresztelte Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve With Ryan Seacrest-re.
