Jayne Eastwood életrajza

Jayne Eastwood 1946. december 17.-én született Toronto városában, Ontario tartományában, Kanadában. Tanulmányait a Torontoi Northern Gimnáziumban végezte.Jayne egy nagyon elismert kanadai színésznő.

Népszerűségét a 2002-ben megjelenő Chicago című filmben való alakításának köszönheti. Egészen 2005-ig a SCTV vállalat tagja volt, ám 2006-tól már a CBC csapatát erősítette. Új ügynökségnél először egy televiziós sorozatban játszott, mégpedig a This Is Wonderland néven ismert vígjátékban. A tárgyalótermes vígjáték után Jayne egy hosszabb szabadságra ment, majd a 2007-es évben visszatért  Wimsey kisasszony karakterében, a Hairspray-ben. A filmben a színésznő egy tanárnő szerepét alakította. Jelenleg a Torontoi színház egyik produkciójával munkálkodik újabb karakterén, mely a Women Fully Clothed  című előadásában fog feltűnni.

Pályafutása során megismerkedett egy film és sorozatíróval, David Flaherty-vel, akivel végül össze is házasodtak, valamint három gyermekük is született.
