NMIXX is a K-pop sextet who merge elements of teen pop, hip-hop, and rock while alternating swagger and sweetness. Assembled by SQU4D (JYP Entertainment), the girl group's first single album, Ad Mare, saw release in early 2022 and shot to number one in South Korea. Entwurf followed later that year, and they finally issued their first EP, Expergo, in early 2023. A Midsummer NMIXX's Dream preceded the chart-topping 2024 EPs Fe3O4: Break and Fe3O4: Stick Out. Initially known as JYPn, NMIXX was formed in late 2021 by JYP Entertainment imprint SQU4D. Rappers Kyujin and Jiwoo, rapper/singer Jinni, and singers Haewon, Lily, BAE, and Sullyoon built anticipation for the group by releasing covers by individual members or sub-units.
